Most people take the car ferry from Puntarenas to Paquera, then drive about 25 minutes to Tambor. You can also fly to Tambor’s small airport from San José.
How far is Tambor from Montezuma and Santa Teresa?
Montezuma is roughly 30 to 35 minutes by car, and Santa Teresa about 40 to 45 minutes, depending on road conditions.
